Mr. Leitao is a Vice President, Operations at LuminArx Capital Management, where he oversees operational infrastructure and reporting across the firm’s special situations investment strategies.
Prior to joining LuminArx, Mr. Leitao was an Operations & Risk Reporting Analyst at Covara Capital, where he supported fund launches and developed portfolio reporting tools. Previously, he served as Director of Operations & Reporting at Antara Capital and as a Risk Analyst within the Alternative Investments Unit at Lombard Odier Investment Management.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Leitao spent six years as a Senior Investment Associate at Enventure Partners, focusing on project finance structuring, risk mitigation strategies, and valuation of energy investments in emerging markets. Before that, he spent eight years at Perry Capital, initially as Senior Operations Manager and later as Risk Associate, where he led the development and implementation of operational risk systems and reporting best practices. He began his career as a Trading Assistant on the Latin American Equities Desk at Morgan Stanley and as a Treasury Analyst at Penn Federal Savings Bank.
Mr. Leitao holds an MBA from the Lisbon MBA, a joint program between MIT Sloan and Universidade Católica Portuguesa/Nova School of Business & Economics, and a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Montclair State University.
